Visarte Ticino
Who they are
Visarte Ticino is the professional association for the visual arts in the Canton of Ticino. It is part of Visarte, which brings together artists throughout Switzerland, and was founded in 1865 as the Society of Swiss Painters, Sculptors and Architects.
Today it has about 130 members in Ticino: it defends their interests, promotes their work with exhibitions and meetings, offers stays in the Paris studio and follows the cultural life of the canton through its Observatory.
