La memoria di Sorengo
Who they are
The Archivio della Memoria di Sorengo, promoted by the municipality, collects the memories of the inhabitants: family photographs, documents and stories recorded in the witnesses' own voices.
Every story, from the village football team to the festivals and trades of the past, thus becomes a shared heritage. The project safeguards the cultural identity of Sorengo, on the outskirts of Lugano, and encourages collaboration between citizens, generations and institutions.

What they do with Artistwall
With Artistwall the Archive devotes a record to each witness, with family photographs and audio recordings of their stories. A page explains the project and how to support it, and a timeline follows its development.
