Nataly Maier was born in Munich in 1957 and has been active since the 1980s between Milan and Starnberg. She began with photography, which taught her to look at light and surfaces.
Then her research opened up to the plastic dimension of the image and to painting, centred on the expressive power of colour: canvases and objects where tones become matter, rhythm and emotion. Her works are exhibited in Italy and Germany and are held in public collections.
