Carlo Orsi (Milan 1941–2021) was one of the most versatile Italian photographers of his time: he worked for fashion and advertising, made reportages in Italy and around the world, and portrayed artists, designers and architects. His images tell half a century of Italian culture, from Milan to distant travels.
The Archivio Carlo Orsi is a non-profit association based in Bergamo. It preserves and catalogues negatives, contact sheets and prints, studies them and makes them available, so that his photographic work is known as a historical and cultural document.
