Bart Herreman
Who they are
Bart Herreman was born in Antwerp in 1945 and studied at the Sint Joost Academy in Breda, in the Netherlands. After moving to Italy, he started out as a fashion photographer for Italian and international magazines.
Later he turned his gaze to spaces: he became a photographer of architecture and interiors, able to tell the story of a building or a home through light. Alongside commissioned work he pursues a personal research close to surrealism, where objects and places take on a suspended air. His studio is in Milan.
