The portal of Lugano's cultural operators

EVENTS

Città di Lugano, Divisione Cultura
Piazza Carlo Cattaneo 1, 6976 Castagnola

The portal of the Cultural Development department of the City of Lugano brings together the city's cultural operators, the spaces and resources available to them and the development projects: a meeting point between those who make culture and those who support it.

(This record is a demonstration example: its information is here to show how Artistwall works and may not be up to date. You are browsing the demo website, created to let the public discover the features and potential of the platform.) What is a demo website?

The portal

The Culture Division of the City of Lugano promotes the preservation and enhancement of the city's cultural heritage and supports the cultural operators and institutions of the area. The Sviluppo culturale (Cultural development) portal is its public tool: a map of the city's cultural life.

It brings together 184 operators, 19 spaces, 6 resources and 2 projects, from LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura to the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana, from libraries to theatre companies, from choirs to the associations that look after the memory of the area. Operators can be filtered by field (performing arts, visual arts, cinema, literature, music, cultural heritage, sciences and others) or found with simple and advanced search. Each record presents the operator with a text, images, the website and the spaces where they work, with the address on the map.

The portal is part of a family of City websites, together with Patrimonio culturale, Mappe di comunità and Cultura e salute. It was developed by OFFICINEBIT.CH.
